Accept the new ceasefire in Gaza

Israel and Hamas agreed to another 72-hour truce proposed by Egypt on Sunday night.

3-day truce will begin at 21:00 local time, paving the way for new talks to end the bloody conflict.

The talks in Cairo were strained during the Sunday after Palestinian negotiators said they would abandon the talks if Israel does not participate unconditionally. While the representative of Israel said that there can be no negotiations 'under fire', warning that the military campaign would take time. A spokesman for the militant Palestinian Hamas movement told AFP that the response to Egypt's new proposal will depend on the seriousness of Israel.

Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu said operations will continue. "I've said from the beginning that the operation against Hamas militants will take time to achieve the required sustainability, said Netanyahu.
