Gaza, strained peace talks

Talks are being held in Cairo Egypt in order to achieve a new ceasefire in Gaza have reached another strain, with both sides involved in the conflict to warn each other.

Palestinian negotiators warn that would abandon the talks if Israel does not engage in dialogue without preconditions set.

For his part, declared that Israel would not negotiate "during the fire", warning that its military campaign will take time.

Britain, France and Germany have called for a new ceasefire, after the 72 hours ending Friday morning.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a televised speech that: "Operations will continue until the objective to establish long term peace to be achieved".

"I said at the outset and during the operation, it will take time as necessary for a lasting peace," he said.

Israeli negotiators have already left Egypt and declare that they will return to indirect negotiations until the rockets fired from Gaza cease.

The newspaper "Jerusalem Post" quoted some old Israeli officials say that, "if the rocket attacks continue, then all options will remain open and not just air strikes."

While Communications Minister Gilad Erda told local television Channel 2 that is currently being discussed terrestrial interference and destruction of Hamas.

On the other hand, the Islamist movement's number two, Mussa Abu Marzuq accused Israel of holding up negotiations and said that the next 24 hours will decide the fate of the Cairo talks.
