Iran plane crashes, 48 fatalities

An airline passenger plane "Sepahan Air", with 48 people on board, of whom eight crew members, reportedly crashed into a residential area, shortly after it was filed by the airport "Mehrabad" Tehran Sunday morning, Unveils the state news agency IRNA, quoting a spokesman for the Iranian Red Cross.

The plane was headed to Tabas, northeast Iran, but slammed into residential block Azad, the "Boulevard Mina 6". IRNA says his collision happened by switching off the engine.
