The Kremlin press office released a letter that President Putin has sent his counterpart, Netherlands.
"I want to express my condolences deeper for you personally and to the French people in connection with the deaths of innocent civilians as a result of an unprecedented series of terrorist attacks in Paris" Putin said in a letter sent to the Netherlands.
Medvedev says that this tragedy is another test that shows the barbaric nature of terrorism and the urgent need for the international community to take joint actions and coordinated fight against this phenomenon.
Earlier, according to media reports that Russia and Syria, Putin hastened to express a personal opinion on the attacks.
"What France is suffering the worst terror attack, is what the Syrian people are already exceeding five years", he stated.
