An Italian firm has published a project aimed at protecting citizens on beaches if the coronavirus lasts until the summer.
The firm has published preliminary sketches showing how the sunbeds would be covered by cabins with glass structures. The cabins will be 4.5 meters long and just as wide, thus ensuring the distance between the beachgoers.
Meanwhile, the CEO of the company, Claudio Ferrari, said:
"A week ago we tried to imagine going back to the beach. The idea was born with the double goal, so that people are protected but also not deprived of going to sea ", said Claudio, for the Italian newspaper La Republica.
Meanwhile, according to La Republica, tourism unions in Italy are working on various projects, so that citizens can visit the beaches during the summer months, even if the fight against coronavirus may not be over.
