The United Arab Emirates facilitates the measures during the month of Ramadan

The United Arab Emirates has announced it will ease 24-hour isolation for the month of Ramadan, the BBC reports.

The new duration of isolation will be from 10 pm to 6 am. Residents can go out for the rest of the day.


For the past three weeks, Dubai had imposed a strict blockade, during which residents were asked to stay at home.

The two main cities - Dubai and the capital Abu Dhabi - are also preparing a plan to reopen shopping malls soon, writes rel.

They have issued a series of instructions on the eve of the month of Ramadan that include keeping the physical distance for two meters in all common spaces.

Visitors will be allowed to make a maximum purchase for three hours and it will be mandatory to wear a mask.

However, congressional prayers in the mosque will still not be allowed throughout the United Arab Emirates.

Metro services in Dubai are expected to begin operations soon.

The United Arab Emirates has reported 8,756 Covid-19 deaths and a total of 56 deaths.
