View of Hart Island in New York - the place for mass burial, now active in the middle of the coronavirus

For more than a century in New York City, the dead without any family members have been buried on Hart Island in Long Island Sound.
According to foreign media, during the coronavirus crisis, a body that is not declared by the family within 15 days, is sent to the island of Hart, also the "resting place".
More than 1 million people are buried on Hart Island, which is considered part of The Bronx near City Island.

Some who fell victim to Spanish influence and the AIDS epidemic have also found their way to the island.

The site, which is currently active as seen in these photos and videos, is managed by the city's Correctional Department.
